The Iranian Embassy, Goose Green and Stanley all conjure images seared into out consciousness from the news coverage of these events in the early 80's.  In each case it is the elite forces that often capture the imagination thanks in large part to their unique missions,, specialized equipment and striking uniforms.  This new series pays tribute to these intrepid soldiers with an initial focus on British special forces in the 1980's and will move on to cover other nationalities, time periods and units.
